,Pantene Bridal Couture Week 2012 organized by Style360 kicked off to a rollicking start today at Lahore. The beautifully decorated lounge and red carpet area, complete with fresh flower arrangements set the tone for the evening. The ramp decorated with Mughal arches, jharokas, picture windows, beautiful chandeliers, flower-peacocks and fresh flower arrangements all helped to give a surreal look to the venue.
Opening the evening show on a grand note was Amato by Rashid Ali and Furne, a UAE-based design label. Amato was followed by Hajra Hayat whose collection was all about cuts and structure and detailed craftsmanship.
A highly entertaining and star-studded mayun performance by BodyBeat Productions choreographed by Hasan Rizvi with film star Sana as the lead performer transported the audience to a wedding scenario. The entertainment segment was followed by Erum Khan’s collection which focused on resham work. Maria B concluded the evening segment with her Mughal collection, inspired by Anarkali.
The night show opened with a bang with the bling collection by Indian designer Charu Parashar. Keeping the mood of the audience high, BodyBeat Productions came in to perform again. Asifa & Nabeel followed with their bridal collection that was an instant hit. The show came to a vibrant and impressive end with the rich and heavily worked collection by Kuki Concepts.
